Knit one, purl one - Artwork knitted from Glass

A mother of one from Germany is knitting beautiful sculptures from glass.

Nadja Recknagel, 34, literally uses hot strings of glass and knits them together as a knitter would do with wool until a hollow shape forms. They then form part of her sculptures and, despite looking incredibly fragile and delicate, are actually very tough. Read more...
